A surprising surge in solar tech investment

"Rather than folding their bets in the wake of that colossal bankruptcy, venture investors in the solar sector are the most bullish they’ve been in years," writes PEHub's Joana Glasner here. 

"In the past three weeks alone, venture investors have announced financings totaling $180 million for four companies engaged in installing, developing or manufacturing solar cells and systems." Check the note for a list of seven recent high-tech solar investments. All are out West.
