Joe Paterno was released from Mount Nittany Medical Center today. The Penn State coach had hip replacement surgery on Sunday and is already walking around, according to his doctor, Wayne Sebastanelli. This is Erin's first season on the Penn State football beat. She previously spent two summers as an Inquirer summer intern on the Pennsylvania and South Jersey desks.
