Zook on Evans and Koroma

Normally, I would save a juicy quote like this until tomorrow's paper, but since it's already out there (Thank you, Internet!), I thought I'd throw it on here. When told during his Big Ten conference call that Penn State defensive linemen Maurice Evans and Abe Koroma were back practicing, Illinois coach Ron Zook laughed. He was then asked if he expected them to play and how would he prepare for their possible return. Zook's response:

"They're going to be back," he said. "I don't think there's any question they're going to be in there."

Hmm. I wonder why Zook expected them to be back. Maybe because coaches are famous for not wanting to lose games without their best players. Should be interesting to see how Paterno reacts to this statement and how this plays out. Was Zook calling out the Big Ten's elder coach/statesman?
