Start time of 3:30 announced for Penn State opener vs. Syracuse

Penn State's season opener against Syracuse on Aug. 31 in East Rutherford, N.J., will kick off at 3:30 p.m.

Penn State's 2013 season opener on Aug. 31 against Syracuse will kick off at 3:30 p.m. from Met Life Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., it was announced Friday.

The game will be televised on ABC and ESPN2.

This is the fourth starting time announced for the 2013 season, the second under head coach Bill O'Brien. The Nittany Lions will host Central Florida at 6 p.m. on Sept. 14 and Michigan for homecoming at 5 p.m. on Oct. 12. Their Oct. 26 game at Ohio State will kick off at 8 p.m.
