Game times for two of Penn State's 12 games in 2009 were released today by the athletic department. The Lions' Sept. 26 Big Ten opener at Beaver Stadium is set for 8 p.m. and will air on either ESPN or ABC. And the Oct. 31 game at Northwestern is slated for 4:30 p.m. The conference game will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPN2. The rest of the start times will be announced in the coming months

Here's the schedule as it sits now:

Sept. 5 vs. Akron, TBA
Sept. 12 vs. Syracuse, TBA
Sept. 19 vs. Temple, TBA
Sept. 26 vs. Iowa, 8 p.m.
Oct. 3 at Illinois, TBA
Oct. 10 vs. Eastern Illinois, TBA
Oct. 17 vs. Minnesota, TBA
Oct. 24 at Michigan, TBA
Oct. 31 at Northwestern, 4:30 p.m.
Nov. 7 vs. Ohio State, TBA
Nov. 14 vs. Indiana, TBA
Nov. 21 at Michigan State, TBA

    Akron, Temple and Eastern Illinois? Wow!!! What happened to Costal Carolina? Maybe next year they can schedule Delaware Valley College or North Penn High School.
