Royster Big Ten PotW

Penn State running back Evan Royster was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week today along with Michigan State running back Javon Ringer and Minnesota quarterback Adam Weber. Royster was honored for his 141-yard, three-touchdown performance in the Nittany Lions' 45-14 thumping of Oregon State. It's been almost three years -- yes, three years -- since a Penn State offensive player has won the award (running back Tony Hunt won it after the Temple game in Nov., 2006). Royster has six TDs in the first two games, already surpassing last season's total of five.
