Practice on Big Ten Network

Penn State, notorious for its closed practices, is allowing the Big Ten Network to film tomorrow's practice. The show will be aired later tomorrow at 9 p.m. (presumably, for you Pat Devlin conspiracy theorists, to edit out any Daryll Clark mistakes). The 90-minute show will "include interviews with special guests, features in-depth analysis of both sides of the ball and highlights important position battles," according to a press release.

Could we possibly deduce who will win the starting quarterback spot from this show? I doubt it. For one, don't expect a practice that would exploit either player. Two, it's fairly obvious that Clark will start against Coastal Carolina. And three, it's plainly obvious -- as well -- that the two quarterbacks will split time down the middle at least for the first game.

State College is the last stop in the BTN's road trip to a practice of every conference school. The program will also air on Monday, Aug. 25 at 4:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 5:30 p.m.
