Penn State-Michigan State pre-game update

STATE COLLEGE, Pa. --

1. It was flurrying something fierce just a moment ago, but the snow has eased up some. The wind is picking up, however, and it'll be interesting to see how Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark deals with the conditions after his lackluster performances in the wind against Iowa and in the rain last week against Indiana.

2. During pre-game warm-ups, the Lions seemed focus and workmanlike. When they huddled for a some speechifying, senior captain Derrick Williams delivered some animated words to his teammates.

3. I looked up from computer and the snow is now blizzard-like, dancing in the wind. It looks like it's just a squall. We'll see ...
