Penn State's Kyle Carter & Jordan Hill 'day-to-day' against Nebraska

Will leading tight end Kyle Carter and star defensive tackle Jordan Hill play in Penn State's final road game of the season?

You might not know until the Nittany Lions take the field at Memorial Stadium for warmups on Saturday.

Carter (foot) and Hill (knee) are both listed as 'day-to-day' for Penn State's game against Nebraska.

Carter, who has 35 catches for 441 yards and two touchdowns, did not travel to last week's game against Purdue. He sustained an injury late in the fourth quarter against Ohio State two weeks ago. Hill, a senior, sustained a knee injury - diagnosed as a sprain - against Purdue.

Meanwhile running back Curtis Dukes is ruled out for Saturday after sustaining a head injury against Purdue. After the game coach Bill O'Brien said it was possible that Dukes had a concussion.

The big redshirt junior hasn't been much of a factor in Penn State's run game this season, but is one of the team's best blockers on punt and kick returns.
