Penn State remains unranked in polls

The Nittany Lions were left out of the polls released Sunday for the second straight week. Just one day after escaping with a 14-10 win at Temple, Penn State received 19 votes in the USA TODAY coaches poll and none in the AP Top 25.

Oklahoma remains No. 1 in both polls. Wisconsin is the top ranked team in the Big Ten, checking in at No. 6 in the AP poll and No. 7 in the USA TODAY poll. Nebraska is ranked ninth in both. Michigan is ranked 22nd in the AP and 21st in USA TODAY. Illinois is No. 24 in the AP, whle Michigan State is No. 23 in USA TODAY. Ohio State dropped from both polls after its loss to Miami on Saturday.

Penn State hosts Eastern Michigan on Saturday at noon.
