Penn State ranked No. 21 in three major polls

Penn State (8-2, 5-1 Big Ten) checked in at No. 21 in the BCS standings, Associated Press poll and the USA TODAY coaches' poll, all of which were released on Sunday. The Nittany Lions, who were No. 12 in all each of the polls last week, lost 17-14 at home to Nebraska on Saturday.

In the three polls, LSU is No. 1. Oklahoma State, Alabama, Oregon and Oklahoma round out the top five, while Arkansas is No. 6.

At No. 15, Michigan State is the highest-ranked Big Ten team in the BCS. Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan are ranked Nos. 16-18.

Penn State, which owns a one-game lead over Wisconsin in the Leaders Division, plays at unranked Ohio State (6-4, 3-3) at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
