After its sixth straight win - a 34-24 decision at Northwestern on Saturday evening - Penn State (7-1, 4-0 Big Ten) is ranked No. 19 in the BCS standings that were released Sunday night. That's a two-spot jump from a week ago, the first edition of the BCS standings.

The Nittany Lions, who sit atop the Big Ten's Leaders Division, also cracked the Associated Press Top 25 poll for the first time since the second week of the season on Sunday, checking in at No. 21. In the two polls that help make up the BCS standings - the USA TODAY coaches' poll and the Harris poll - Penn State ranked No. 19 this week.

Penn State hosts Illinois (6-2, 2-2) at 3:30 on Saturday afternoon at Beaver Stadium. The Fighting Illini dropped out of the Top 25 in all four of the aforementioned polls after their 21-14 loss at Purdue on Saturday.
