Penn State lands OL Michael Menet

Penn State landed the lineman it coveted on Friday when it received a commitment from four-star junior offensive tackle Michael Menet.

Menet whittled his choices from 30 down to two, with Duke the only other school competing with the Nittany Lions for the services of the for the Reading, PA Exeter lineman.

According to 247Sports, the 6-5, 271-pound member of the class of 2016 was ranked the nation's sixth-best guard. It is believed that he is capable of playing all five positions for the Nittany Lions. Due to his height and his athleticism, it is believed that he my man the left tackle position.

Menet made the announcement Friday afternoon at a press conference at his school.
