Defensive tackle Jordan Hill and tight end Kyle Carter are both listed as 'day-to-day' on Penn State's injury report, though one of the ailing players appears to have a better shot at playing on Saturday against Nebraska.

At practice on Wednesday evening, both players stretched with the the team. Though Hill, wearing a sweatshirt, looked like he had limited motion.

When it came time for position drills, Carter was participating with the rest of the tight ends. He used a weight ball, caught balls and did everything the rest of the tight ends did. Over by the defensive tackles, Hil was standing by the sideline. He did not participate in any drills in the first 25 minutes of practice.

Hill, a senior, sprained his knee last week against Purdue. Carter, a redshirt sophomore, injured his left ankle late in the Ohio State game and did not travel to Purdue.

Meanwhile running back Curtis Dukes, who has been ruled out for Saturday with a head injury, was not practicing. He was at practice, though, in gray sweats.
