Iowa 24, Penn State 23

IOWA CITY, Iowa -- The dream is over. Penn State lost to Iowa, 24-23, on a last-second field goal. The Lions national title hopes are basically up in smoke and so is the opportunity for coach Joe Paterno to go out with his third national championship. Penn State failed to capitalize on first-half opportunities and were overly conservative in the second half, setting up the upset. Where do they go from here? Well, they still control their own destiny as far a Big Ten title goes. Penn State has Indiana at home next and host Michigan State in the season finale. Essentially, the Lions are playing for the Rose Bowl.
