There will obviously be more fallout from the Pat Devlin transferring debacle (and that's a debacle created from both sides), but here's this morning's story on what occurred over the last few days that led to Devlin's leaving Penn State. There's more to the story -- some of it I couldn't write, some of it to come -- but the divorcing was something that obviously shouldn't have happened had either side handled the situation properly. It appears neither side wanted this, but egos and agendas got in the way and one thing led to another and Devlin was gone. Too bad, really. I'll have more as the day progresses, but a full story will be in tomorrow's paper.

Never ever should a blue chip QB recruit go to PSU. Chad Henne and Tyrelle Pryor were right. Pryor would still be sitting next year if he went to PSU.I hope Devlin finds his place elsewhere and turns out like Flacco who transfered from Pitt.

When will we get rid of Jay Paterno? Why doesn't PSU get it? I don't blame Devlin one bit - why should he sit on the bench? No 4 or 5 star quarterback will ever come to PSU as long as Jay is the QB coach -- he is not any good.

If he goes to Delaware, not Deleware, he will certainly not "ride the pine". He will start right away. Devlin won the game against Ohio State.
