DWill is almost done

It seemed like only yesterday that Derrick Williams signed with Penn State almost four years ago. But a lot has happened since, the most important being the turnaround of the program. While it's hard to say one person can directly be responsible for that turnaround, Williams played a large part. Since the wide receiver arrived, the Lions have gone 39-10 and are a win over Michigan State this Saturday away from clinching their second Big Ten title in four seasons.

Williams, though, hasn't lived up to the hype. It may have been unfair to think that Williams would have come to State College and won two Heisman Trophies, but those were some of the expectations placed upon the incoming freshman. Nevertheless, he's made an impact and has had a very good, if not great, final season. Here's this morning's story on Williams.
