Anti-gay protests getting little support

...this is a test. this is only an olympic blog test. do not be alarmed. do not summon chechnyans ...

SOCHI -- So far during these Olympics, Russia's anti-gay law, the issue du jour in the days leading up the Games, has gotten very little traction.

On Sunday, an openly gay ski-jumper, basically said anyone planning to protest here shouldn't even bother.

"I don't think it's a good idea to make protest here," said Austria's Daniela Iraschko-Stolz, one of the favorites in the event. "No one cares.

"I'm here as a sportswoman. To jump pretty good is also a statement. I know Russia will go and make the right moves in the future. We should give them time."
