One of the nation’s premier high school girls’ long jumpers resides in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
Her name is Courtney Kendra.
The Phoenixville junior posted the nation’s 10th-best  long jump of 19-5 ½ to win Thursday’s Montgomery Invitational at William Tennent.
That distance was 1-5 ½ longer than her previous personal record.

Any relation to Dan Kendra, the superstar QB at Bethlehem Catholic in the mid-1990s? Whatever happened to him, anyway?
