Lower Merion defeated Central Bucks East 1-0 in tonight's District 1 Class AAA boys' soccer third-place game at Downingtown West's DiSerafino Stadium.

Dilullo lead Aces past Patriots

Lower Merion defeated Central Bucks East 1-0 in tonight's District 1 Class AAA boys' soccer third-place game at Downingtown West's DiSerafino Stadium.

Aces senior midfielder Danny Dilullo scored the game's lone goal in the 58th minute.

Both teams advanced to the PIAA Class AAA state tournament.

Lower Merion (17-2-1) will face the winner of tonight's District 11 final between Freedom and

Parkland on Tuesday at a yet-to-be-determined site. The Patriots (17-4-1) will meet the winner of tonight's District 3 championship between Exeter and Manheim Township .
