A Crushing Reversal

Eastern's Robert Deutsch was leading Jackson Memorial's Derrik Russell in the third period of their 112-pound bout yesterday when Russell reversed and pinned hin with a helf-second remaining.

Eastern won the South Jersey Group 4 semifinal, 32-21, but the last-second pin was still a shock.

It was the second time that a Jackson wrestler pinned an opponent in the final second this season, according to Jim Colbert, the Jaguars' announcer.
