Bill Iezzi: Arena Golf Tournament Afterthought

Tom Smith's sudden-death victory on the 17th hole to break a three-way tie at 74 to win the Arena/Rifkin golf tournament Thursday was a fittingly exciting ending to a great day of competition.

Smith handed Woodstown it's first individual victory in the 29-year history of the tournament and I got to write about it.

I also got to enjoy the most delicious hot dog I've ever eaten in the Valleybrook Country Club bar. It was huge (a quarter of a pound) and beefy. I smothered it with mustard, devoured it with a Coke, and asked where such a tasty dog came from.

Berks Foods, I was told by the bartender.

I found it online and believe me, I'll be barbecuing and eating them all summer.
