PW names Dan Chang as new football coach

Dan Chang, a an assistant for five years at North Penn, has been named as the new Plymouth Whitemarsh head fotoball coach.

Dan Chang, a an assistant for five years at North Penn, has been named as the new Plymouth Whitemarsh head fotoball coach.

Chang, a 2001 North Penn graduate, coached the Knights' offensive and defensive lines. He is a health and physical education teacher at Colonial Middle School.

Chang replaces John Staudenmayer, who resigned last month after compiling a 14-30 record in four seasons with the Colonials.

Marc Narducci has covered South Jersey high school sports for the majority of his tenure with The Inquirer, which began in 1983. After a few years of covering the NFL and NBA, Marc returns to South Jersey, serving as the assigning editor, columnist and beat writer for various sports.
