Look for some excellent performances at the NJSIAA track and field Meet of Champions tomorrow at South Plainfield's Frank R. Jost stadium.
For example, Seneca's Drew Kanz could reach 7-1 in the high jump again. He did it on May 16 at the Burlington County Open.
That's motivation for Timber Creek's Montez Blair to jump higher. His personal best is 7 feet.
And what about Glassboro's Ryan Chance in the triple jump? The senior won the South Jersey Group 1 event with a distance of 48 feet, 3 1/4 inches, the best in New Jersey sectional history.
Can Chance do it again, or better?
Stay tuned.
