Danny Watkins inactive for second consecutive week

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Danny Watkins continues to be a healthy scratch and will not play Sunday against the New York Giants.

Fletcher Cox and Mychal Kendricks are both out with concussions, meaning Derek Landri will stark at defensive tackle and Akeem Jordan will start linebacker.

Chris Polk continues to sit, but he's still on the injury report with a toe injury. Tight end Evan Moore was downgraded to out with a back injury and is among the inactives.

The two other healthy scratches are wide receiver Greg Salas and offensive lineman Matt Kopa, midseason additions from the New England Patriots who have not been active all season.

Trent Edwards is the backup quarterback for Michael Vick.
