FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper are both out of Friday’s game against the New England Patriots, leaving the Eagles without their starting receivers. Maclin has a hamstring injury and Cooper has a foot injury.

Look for Ifeanyi Momah and Arrelious Benn to start in their place.

Seven other players are sidelined in Friday’s game: cornerback Nolan Carroll (hamstring), running back Chris Polk (hamstring), running back Matthew Tucker (hamstring), cornerback Jaylen Watkins (hamstring), linebacker Jake Knott (hamstring), running back David Fluellen (calf), and center Julian Vandervelde (back).

Cooper, Carroll, Polk, Knott, and Vandervelde are all missing their second preseason game.

With three running backs sidelined, Henry Josey is expected to get significant playing time in the second half. The starters are expected to play the first half.

Injuries to Carroll and Watkins means Roc Carmichael and Curtis Marsh will receive more playing time. Brandon Boykin could also get snaps at outside cornerback.

Defensive lineman Bennie Logan and wide receiver Jeff Maehl are back after missing the first game.

**The Eagles are wearing black jerseys on Friday night. They will wear black or white jerseys through the early portion of the schedule because the midnight green jerseys are not yet available while the team upgrades to Nike Elite 51 fabrication. Those jerseys are body-contoured and are meant to amplify speed, according to the Eagles.

Midnight green is a custom color and requires extra time to produce, the team said.
