It's one thing for Adam "Pacman" Jones to talk some trash about the Eagles' lopsided victory over the St. Louis Rams in the season opener, but now the girlfriend of the Dallas Cowboys' quarterback is in on the act.

During an appearance on Good Morning America this morning, Jessica Simpson screamed "Go Cowboys!" Odds are she screamed it off key. Her blondeness -- at least we think she's a blonde -- later added that when her beau Tony Romo and the Cowboys play the Eagles Monday night that, "We're gonna kick your butts, too!"

Jessie, of course, was on hand in her pink Romo jersey last December when the Eagles upset the Cowboys at Texas Stadium.

Jones, the Cowboys' cornerback with a record that includes more than tackles and interceptions, was unimpressed when asked about three Eagles receivers accumulating than 100 yards each in the Eagles' opening-day win over St. Louis.

"They played the Rams, dude," Jones said.

At least he didn't say they played the Ewes.

As for the Yoko Romo headline, we have to give credit to Mike Florio at profootballtalk.com for that reference.

If nothing else, the bulletin-board material in the Eagles' locker room could be showing more skin than usual this week.

It's just as well she's not an Eagles fan. She wouldn't be able to spell the cheer.

She's got short memory. It was the Eagles who shook the Cowboys confidence down the stretch last year as we pulled the upset in Texas Stadium; she should know because she was there. She ought to be feeling a bit nervous as we're much better than we were that afternoon while the Cowboys did not get significantly better. She's not the one who's going to have to face numbers 20, 22, 24, 26, and 58 on the field, so she should keep it low.

I love this stuff. I love how the Eagles veterans have been downplaying last Sunday's stomping of the Rams and are quietly approaching Monday night's showdown while some Dallas players and their fans are making a whole bunch of noise. We had a term for those guys on my college team - "False Tough Guys". All that talk, false bravado, and expectation that you can just show up on the field and win... man you cannot script this stuff better. Take the 2008 Philadelphia Eagles lightly at your own peril. In every phase of the game they have playmakers - Offense, Defense & Special Teams. Does this mean they will automatically win on Monday Night? No. But what it does mean is that no one in Philadelphia should have any angst going into this game. The Eagles will be prepared and the Cowboys better be ready for a dogfight. I believe this will be the first game of the year in which the training camp philosophy of both teams will be tested. The tough as nails, only the strong survive, everyone needs to earn their spot, high speed, full contact, grit and grind of Andy's training camp, versus the Country Club, Hollywood atmosphere, superstar watching, "we only have about eight spots open on the team", up-tempo, high efficiency, minimal contact, camp of Wade Phillips. In reality, you can win with either philosophy. But what we will find out on Monday night, is what kind of team the Dallas Cowboys REALLY are when they face a team that is going to come out and punch them in the mouth for 60 minutes. This should be an outstanding game.

Romo's girl friend is the perfect woman. Smoking hot looks and figure, and dumber than a bag of hammers. Can't ask for better than that.

After the EAgles go down to little d on Mon night and shovel the manure off of the football field, I would love to see D Jack look straight into the camera- after being asked how he beat up on crackman all game- and say, "Hey...it was the cowboys dude!"
