The Eagles finally activated defensive end Vinny Curry. After sitting the first two games, the 2012 second-round pick will play Thursday against the Kansas City Chiefs. Curry's addition could bolster the Eagles pass rush.
The Eagles' inactives are quarterback Matt Barkley, cornerback Roc Carmichael, cornerback Jordan Poyer, tackle Matt Tobin, tackle Dennis Kelly, defensive end Damion Square, and tight end Emil Igwenagu.
Poyer sitting down means Shaun Prater is active. This will be Prater's first NFL game.
Square and Poyer, both of whom played the first two games, now take a seat.
Carmichael was added on Wednesday, so he was not expected to play. Tobin, Kelly, and Igwenagu haven't played yet this season.
The big news on the Chiefs side is that cornerback Brandon Flowers is active. He was questionable.
Kansas City's inactives are quarterback Tyler Bray, linebacker Nico Johnson, center Eric Kush, tight end Anthony Fasano, tight end Travis Kelce, linebacker Josh Martin, and defensive tackle Jaye Howard.
Fasano and Kelce sitting means Sean McGrath is Kansas City's top tight end.
