Andy's left hand deftly controls the puppet through a hole in his chair, and you can't see him move his lips at all. This act is getting old.

What point in trading up? Tannehill is a career 2nd string QB *at best*. He's a reach in the 1st round.

This is a deep draft. Pick the best available player at 15 and be done with it.

I wouldn't pay any mind to that article in the Cleveland Plain Dealer...the writer is a shill for the Browns, who are clearly trying to drum up interest in that #4 pick, as they are still seething over the Redskins beating them out for RGIII...Like you said, Tanneyhill is a reach at 10 IMO, let alone 4...They'll get quality at their spot no matter what...if anything, I'd still try to add another pick in rounds 2 or 3....(I didn't use the word "trade down"...I wouldn't want to get Howie wet).

Trading down from 15 to 25-30 isn't something Roseman would do especially since it makes sense to do it since you get the same type of player and pick up a late 2nd or early 3rd. He likes to get rid of picks in the first three rounds for bushels of 5-7 rounders.

So here's the Eagles 1st round draft trade history under Andy

Acquired: Brandon Graham, Jeremy Maclin, Jerome Mc Dougle and Shawn Andrews

Given up (2007-2008): Anthony Spencer and Jonathan Stewart

If the past is prologue, hell no!

    Class dismissed.

Panthers took Jeff Otah (not Jonathan Stewart) w/ the Eagles pick in the 2008 draft.

If they are going to trade Asante then ok im fine with that, but at least be prepared for either drafting a replacement or signing someone in Free agency that is not better then Asante. Gotta get Barron and we should be ok or Kirkpatrick either one i'l be happy

There's really no reason to move up unless they have fallen in love with Fletcher Cox, who looks to be gone by #15. But this draft is loaded at DT. I don't see moving up as being a realistic move.

Plenty of QBs coming out next year. Don't get stuck with the second-tier QBs this year. Get in postion for Matt Barkley (Better than Luck), or Landry Jones (6-4, 230 rocket arm, 4 year starter).

Vick will be fine for 2 more years.

Never trade up into the top 10 unless its for a "Franchise" type player. I would actually trade down into the early 20's and take Baron...he's an instant upgrade and makes your defense tougher. 2nd and 3rd rounds I would take DT-LB-CB....we need this defense to have "top 5 in the league" potential if this team wants to be considered a true SB contender!!!

I'm on board with this. I want a DT(hopefully Cox) or S(only if it's Barron) in the first round, and then an OLB(Lavonte David?) and a DT or S(whichever we didn't already get) in the 2nd round

OK bernie 27- just as long as you are happy cause this whole draft process comes down to you and what you want.

@banned - The Eagles traded down and drafted Pro Bowl receiver and punt returner DeSean Jackson in 2008. They also got Trevor Laws, a servicable backup on the defensive line. Trading down is not always a bad thing. Having said that, I agree with @fmMD. Get the best guy available at 15 and be done with it.

Arrogant Andy's drafting of Defensive Players over the years has been, at best, abysmal! Since the Accountant/Lawyer/Kimchee has been involved in the last 2 drafts, it has gotten much worse, affecting both sides of the ball. The "Quantity over Quality" draft strategy (2 marginal players out of 25 selected) has failed miserably and needs to change this year! So that being said, watch them trade all the picks to move up and get Tannenhill at #4, who will be of absolutely no value to them for three years at best......LOL! Quick, get the guns outta the house, the Eagles are on the clock!!
