Blackmon will probably go #4 to the Rams, assuming they make a deal with Cleveland (the favorite to move up and get Griffin)

How in GOd's name would the Eagles move up 13 spots in the draft when it has been acknowledged that the draft pick value chart is basically thrown away in regards to the top 2 picks this year? 2 1's, a 3rd and a 4th was what it cost NY to move up 3 spots in 04. THREE SPOTS. This argument is beyond useless.

You're going under the assumption that #15 doesn't entice the Rams as much as maybe #4,#6,#8...You're right...But being creative (Jason Peters, or DeSean sign and trade,) can sweeten the pot...Food for thought....The Rams need either WR's (Blackmon) or a LT to protect their franchise QB Sam Bradford... Real bad teams like the Rams IMO need more good players (picks) than one star, but those two positions of need are necessary to support their big investment. (Bradford)

Exactly. The Eagles would have to trade DJax, (2) #1 picks(maybe 3 since their pick is below guaranteed Blue Chip territory), (2) #2's and possibly a 3rd rounder to get the pick. Besides, the DN is just pumping fans and fake news for content. If you watched RGIII get interviewed, he mentioned that he met with SF as well and then said he has talked to about 20 teams. Why do the Eagles stand out in that scenario? The dumbest scenario is drafting a WR in the top 10 since they are so often gigantic busts and almost never have great rookie years, unless you consider 50 catches for 800yds and 5TD's epic. That wins rookie of the year. There are great big bodied, fast WR in this draft that can be had in rounds 2-3 like Streeter and Hill.

what is Andy obsession with black QBs. Come on three black QBs in a row (McNabb, Vick and RGIII). My hat goes off to him as one of the winnest coaches (minus a SB) in the game but if we get RGIII I'm going to have to question his motives. And for all you McNabb haters just remember we were never 8-8 with McNabb starting the majority of the season. Good Luck Vic in 2012!!

Vick is short term, but the price will be too high for the Eagles. There are teams in the top 10 that actually have a chance. This is just a made up story to get a reactions and increase readers on both sides. They would have to give up their 1, possibly both 2s, and maybe a 3 or a 4 along with a 1 next year... AND it still might not be enough. Reports out of Washington have the Redskins already offering their 1st this year (which is in the top 10) and their ist next year along with other picks. Now which team do you want their 1st round picks? The Eagles should still be better than an RGIII led Skins next year. Everyone assumes that other teams, especially the Rams, want DJax and/or Samuels. If the Eagles are to do this, they would have to go really BIG to out deal other teams. Does anyone even know when the last time a team outside of the top 10 moved up to the first or second pick?

We either trade up to get this kid or try and win the Super Bowl next year. Cant do both. Cant blame the Eagles for talking to this kid because Vick in certainly not the answer.

I don't understand the logic behind this statement. How is trading up to get RGIII preventing us from winning a superbowl in the upcoming season? Who exactly are we drafting in the first three or four rounds with our current picks that you (and others) see actually making that much of an impact that it would eliminate us from winning a superbowl if we no longer had those picks??
