Vick cancels Oprah interview

Michael Vick won't be going on Oprah Winfrey's show next week after all.
"After careful consideration, I will need to postpone the taping of the Oprah Winfrey interview scheduled for February 22. I admire and respect Oprah and hope to be able to participate in an interview in the future," Vick said in a news release sent out by the Eagles and his personal media relations team.
Earlier today we focused on a big football question: when free agency finally begins, could the Eagles make a play for Nnamdi Asomugha? Team president Joe Banner talked to the press about it, and explained how the Eagles are preparing for an unusual offseason.

No doubt afraid other guests or the audience might actually ask some non pre=packaged, self-serving, sycophantic, soft ball questions. Terrified possibly have to face one of the surviving victims of his laughing torture & abuse. Handlers couldn't control & contrive the situation sufficiently, terrified of any truly open discussion. - The Jewish people that got reparations are the ones that suffered in the camps or the direct descendants of those that were tortured, gassed and burned in the ovens. - Good for you Michael Vick...Oprah has not been relevant since she endorsed the empty suited one in the White House. How many times can you say you are sorry...how much of your life and savings do you have to give up to show your remorse for what was done? Just keep on the straight and narrow...and continue to try and be a positive influence on the young people who need your help. Oprah is to busy promoting herself..in my whole life I have never seen such a thing as this woman who owns a magazine and she is the only one on the cover every month.
