Vick among Eagles Pro Bowlers

POSTED: Tuesday, December 28, 2010, 7:01 PM

Michael Vick headlines the Eagles' cast of Pro Bowl honorees after the NFL announced the teams for the annual All-Star game to be held on Jan. 30 in Hawaii.

The Eagles quarterback will start for the NFC squad. Also starting will be tackle Jason Peters and cornerback Asante Samuel. Wide receiver DeSean Jackson is a reserve and David Akers is the kicker.

Running back LeSean McCoy, defensive end Trent Cole and guard Todd Herremans were several Eagles that came up short in voting. Those three, however, are first alternates should a player ahead of them on the roster back out of the game.

Safety Quintin Mikell and fullback Owen Schmitt were second alternates.

Vick's selection is the fourth of his career.

Cole got jobbed. So did Shady. Based upon watching 7 of the last 8 quarters, all Eagles picked and alternates will be playing in Honolulu. They can get their discount tix now. No chance they are anywhere else come Pro Bowl weekend. FFAR must go and he must go now!!!!
