Samuel still out; Dixon leaves practice early

Asante Samuel missed his second straight practice due to a knee sprain.

"I'm working every day to get better so we'll see how it goes," the Eagles cornerback said Thursday.

With Samuel sidelined, Joselio Hanson has been getting most of the repetitions at right cornerback. In nickel downs, Hanson said that he's been moving inside and rookie Trevard Lindley has been taking his place on the outside.

Defensive end Juqua Parker also sat out of practice with a hip flexor strain. Defensive tackle Antonio Dixon left practice early with an unspecified abdomen injury. Guard Nick Cole (knee) was also limited at practice.
