Asante Samuel was listed as questionable for Sunday night's game at Dallas, even though the Eagles cornerback hardly practiced all week.
"I'm feeling pretty good," Samuel said. "Everything's getting better. I'm taking it day to day."
Samuel was suited up at the start of Eagles practice on Friday, but mainly took mental repetitions for the first part and then left the team's indoor bubble soon after. He has a knee sprain and was a limited participant at Wednesday's practice, but sat out the next day's session with soreness.
"I wouldn't call it a setback, but some things were uncomfortable," said Samuel, who also said that he could play without a week of practice.
If Samuel can't go, Joselio Hanson will start in his place as he did in the previous two games Samuel missed. Trevard Lindley will also play some left cornerback when Hanson moves inside to play the nickel.
Tackle Winston Justice is also listed as questionable. He didn't take a practice rep all week because of a hyperextended knee. If Justice has to sit Sunday, King Dunlap will start at right tackle.
Eagles coach Andy Reid was noncommital on whether Samuel or Justice would travel to Dallas. The team will gather for a walk-through before they depart for Dallas on Saturday. If neither's condition has improved, Reid may decide to leave one or the other or both home.

- "dedhed" were you even watching the last two Eagles games last year. Have you watched the last 4 games Dallas has played since they fired Wade Philips. They always have sucked, Cowboys have played in a record eight Super Bowls and won five times. Eagles have won how many? As much as I hate them, you cannot deny they fact that they have accomplished something the Eagles have not, big time. Also, this is not going to be an easy game, especially with Samuel out. Not saying they are going to lose. I think they win, but not in a blowout.— John663

- I thought that Bryant's injury and Dallas' poor offensive line gave the Eagles the slight edge. If Samuel can't play, no way can the Eagles win unless they put Kitna down about 5 or 6 times.— jimmyj
- Jay_Gax. re-read my post. Was responding to "dedhed" saying they've always sucked. Hard to say they've always sucked when they've won 5 Superbowl's. You have to give them credit for that. That's was my point. When you say you don't hear "us talking about that" I think you assume I'm a Cowboys fan, wrong. Was born and raised an Eagles fan. Grew up watching Norm Snead, Bill Bergey, Harold Jackson, etc... Grew up hearing my Dad telling me about the Championship games at Connie Mack & Franklin Field. Remember the 1st game I ever saw was at Franklin field. And yes I'll give the Eagles props for the Championship games they won. That's not living in the past, it recognizing it. But unlike you I don't drink the "dedhed" Kool-aid and I can acknowledge that a team that has won 5 Superbowl's has to recognized for that fact. Doesn't mean I don't hate them, b/c I do, I just respect what they accomplished. If you'll notice I said I hate them. And I'll trade 5 Superbowl's for one win over Lombardi in the playoffs any day.— John663
