BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Andy Reid said he's still not sure when guard Shawn Andrews will rejoin the team on the practice field.
Andrews, who reported to training camp Sunday after missing the first two weeks while dealing with his depression, will not play in tomorrow night's preseason game against the Carolina Panthers at Lincoln Financial Field, but could return for the Eagles' practice Saturday at the NovaCare Complex.
"We'll see," Reid said following the team's morning mock game that ended the Lehigh portion of training camp. "Right now we're just in the process of getting a support staff set up for him in Philadelphia."
Reid said Andrews does appear to be in good physical condition.
"He had told me he had been working out and we put him through some things the last couple days. He looks like he's in pretty good shape."
Game Plan. Reid said the starters will play the first half against the Panthers and that Kevin Kolb would get the majority of snaps at quarterback in the second half.
Todd Herremans will start in place of Tra Thomas at left tackle with Scott Young filling in for Herremans at left guard. Thomas is still bothered by back spasms that have sidelined him since Sunday. Defensive end Chris Clemons also will not play because of a strained calf and receiver Jason Avant is questionable because of a hamstring spasm.
