Reid: Kolb and Bradley to play against Jacksonville

DETROIT -- Andy Reid said that quarterback Kevin Kolb and linebacker Stewart Bradley, who both missed the Eagles' 35-32 win over the Lions Sunday, will play next week when the team travels to Jacksonville.
The Eagles coach was asked if it would be difficult to go back to Kolb after Vick's performance, in which he threw for 284 yards and two scores.
"Not hard at all," Reid said.
Vick was asked a similar question about being able to handle a return to being a backup and the occasional change-of-pace quarterback.
"It's not going to be difficult at all," Vick said. "I just to make sure I'm ready to go within my package, and go out and help this team win football games."
- Kevin Kolb behind that offensive line is going to be another disaster. Can you imagine if he had been quarterbacking today? It would have been a loss. He is probably long-term a better pure passer than Vick - but the o-line the way it is now, Vick has the tool to get out of the way. I worry Kolb's growth is going to be severely stunted or he'll end up with more concussions. jamesiri
- With this O-line, Kolb may have more concussions than touchdown. Actually, that's how it really is so far.
- Amen to that jamesiri.

Bill, the dog killing is in the past. Vick, paid for that with 2 years in jail. Get over it. Vick did. grog
let it go Bill1966, judge the man on how he plays football. caddymike
Vick played a great game. I hope Kolb coming back doesn't cause a riff in the team. Let's go Birds!!!! ATX_Phillydude
Maybe Reid is secretly hoping Kolb gets another concussion. That way he is out of making a tough decision. Lord knows, when he has to make a tough decision, he screws it up.

Kolb will go down as the worst mistake in Reid's coaching history. Can't win six games with that guy, especially playing behind this godawful offensive line. knebman- I know that Kevin Kolb is Andy's starting quarterback, but if he doesn't do well upon his return against Jacksonville, Michael should resume the starting role because to me, it's all about winning football games. If Michael Vick gives you that best chance (especially under this horrendous offensive line), then he is the man you go with. noseman
- I wouldnt worry about it noseman, either Kolb will play well and learn to get the football out REAL fast, or he is gonna get killed back there and injured again, and Vick will be in then. I hope Kolb does well and I think he will, Vick really does nothing for the team unless they re-sign him. Right now hes just auditioning for other teams to get more $$ on another roster, unless of course Kolb has a serious injury. Either way the team isnt doing anything this year. Reid needs to be stripped of the playcalling or fired if he refuses. Its never gonna win a SB. EVER.
Remember this is Andy. We go straight forward. We don't admit mistakes. We don't allow negative thoughts. We don't do changes. jimmyj
Can we talk about McDermott atrocious defense play calling?
Please let this guy go,, he’s lost, confused and out coached every week!
If not for Vick the iggles would have lost by 24,, easily!
osi is hurt boohoo
Kolb is the best qb on the team. Andy Reid and his staff have been watching McNabb, Kolb and Vick for well over a year up close. They picked Kolb because he's better than McNabb and Vick. These last two games are being viewed by them as part of the history of the last year plus. Does anybody think that Reid saw anything from Vick that he hasn't seen before? Kolb has to bring what the Eagles saw in practice to the games. They are seeing how Kolb handles game pressure, overcoming adversity and those type of things that you just can't see until someone plays. Some players don't handle those things well. MikeP
