BRAYLON EDWARDS NOT ON HIS WAY TO PHILLY

Two trade possibilities involving the Eagles floated in the hours before the Detroit Lions made Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford the first pick in the NFL draft.

One had the Eagles getting Cleveland wide receiver Braylon Edwards and the fifth overall pick for Shawn Andrews, Sheldon Brown and the 21st overall pick.

That is so ridiculous it's funny.

The other story came from the Denver Post and said the Eagles have inquired about the availability of Broncos tight end Tony Scheffler. An Eagles source said the Broncos actually called them about dealing Scheffler. The source said the Eagles could have interest in Scheffler based on what they do in the draft in regards to picking a tight end.

    Moreno to Denver? WTF? What is McDaniels doing in Denver? Didn't they bring in two backs this offseason? Buck won't be getting that starting role he was looking for.

    How about Monroe falling to Jacksonville. Think Tra Thomas is happy about that? He isn't a good enough run blocker to be a RT and they didn't draft Monroe with all that guaranteed money that goes to a top 10 pick to play him at RT. Tra has been replaced twice in one off-season, lol. Freakin Broncos...they needed defense and they take Moreno. They actually brought in 3 backs already...Buck, Lamont Jordan and JJ Arrington.

    Scheffler anyone???? that would be an amazing trade, hes an excellent tight end. That would make Boldin an afterthought with the Maclin pick.
