Peters leaves practice with a mild hamstring injury

Jason Peters left practice early with a mild right hamstring injury, the Eagles said.

Chip Kelly said that Peters said that he was OK and that he wasn't worried about the injury. Peters missed all of last season after rupturing his Achilles tendon, but hasn't been limited since the spring.

Dennis Kelly would normally be the next offensive linemen up at left tackle, but he also left practice early. The Eagles did not have an immediate update on his condition. Rookie Matt Tobin filled in for Peters instead.

The offensive line did get one starter back: right guard Todd Herremans was back at practice after sitting out Monday with a knee injury.

The following players did not practice on Wednesday: Cornerback Cary Williams (hamstring), wide receiver Arrelious Benn (knee), defensive tackle Antonio Dixon (hamstring), cornerback Brandon Hughes (knee) and wide receiver B.J. Cunningham (foot).
