One word or two?

Ocho Cinco or Ochocinco? The NFL is giving in to the Bengals' top receiver, but only slightly.

One word or two?

Chad Johnson or Ocho Cinco or Ochocinco?

The Associated Press reported this afternoon news regarding the name of the Cincinnati Bengals top receiver.

The receiver formerly known as Chad Johnson, who wears No. 85, said last year he wanted Ocho Cinco to be his new name, as in two words with capital 'O' and capital 'C.' He is selling T-shirts and such on his web site with that spelling and capitalization.

However, when he submitted his name-change form to the NFL last August, he spelled it Ochocinco. And that's how it will be on his jersey.

“It’s his legal name,” AFC information manager Corry Rush said Thursday, according to AP.

Neither the player nor his agent returned phone messages to the AP.
