BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- President Obama apparently feels the same way many Eagles fans feel when they see Michael Vick scrambling down field without a fear in the world.

Nnamdi Asomugha spoke at an event for Obama on Monday in Oakland in which he introduced the President. They spoke afterward about football, according to the Eagles cornerback, and the leader of the free world had some advice for the leader of the Eagles.

"He did," Asomugha said Wednesday after he reported to Lehigh University for the start of training camp. "He told me to tell Vick to slide."

Really?

"Promise," Asomugha said. "We talked about football for about three or four minutes and the one thing that stuck out, 'Tell Vick to slide.' He's a big fan."

Vick responded to Obama's request on Twitter.

"If the President of the U.S. is saying I need to slide then I really need to start sliding. lol. Thanks Mr. President!," Vick wrote.

Asomugha has said before that he's met Obama before. The 31-year old also considers former President Bill Clinton a confidant. Asomugha has attended the Clinton Global Initiative University in Austin, Tex. since 2009 to discuss the importance of global service and student activism.

The worldly cornerback, who has many interests outside of football, said he also visited London and Toyko this offseason. Monday's event in Oakland was for Obama, Asomugha said.

"I was able to get everybody excited," Asomugha said about introducing Obama. "That was a big moment. It's been an interesting summer."

Nnamdi, I don't want to know about your politics. Much success to Vick this season. Of course, he'll have to remember that he didn't build that.

Obama just put the kiss of death on the Eagles season. Remember when Vick was hot going in December of 2010 and Obama said he watching Vick? The Eagles went 4-11 (2010 finish into 2011) until they were able to shake off the curse...

I can never keep this straight. Is Obama a socialist or a fascist?

Does it matter? Did it matter that Mussolini was a fascist and Stalin was a Communist? They both believe in the same thing. They both believed in a centralized tyrannical government just like Obama. Obama has a soft tyranny now. You think you are being funny and insulting to people with the question but you are showing your ignorance.

Tell Obama never to throw an opening pitch again. He throws like a girl. Actually, I take that back, that is an insult to girls they throw way better than Obama.

Ask Nhamndi to ask Obama if he figured out who his favorite White Sox player was. The last time someone ask him who his favorite player was on his favorite team he couldn't even name one player on the team. This is what happens when you are a liar. Someone probably told him to say that to Nhamdi.

Is Nhamdi included in the hated millionaires and billionaires or is he exempted from being envied and hated because he doesn't make his money by using his mind?

Reagan added 9 million jobs in his first 30 months post-Jimmy Carter. Will history repeat itself? As of right now, what has Barack done that we need four more years of? Vick can slide; while Romney landslides.

Hate him or love him, we all can admit, Vick is in the top 1%, and Obama wants his money.

Since Obama and Vick don't have a clue, Vick is confused by this advice.

Obama's going to win folks.. get over it. (it was two wars and a real estate bubble burst that killed the economy, not Obama)
