Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan has been ruled out for Sunday's Eagles game, coach Mike Smith said today during his day-after news conference.

The Penn Charter product suffered a toe injury in Atlanta's win over Tampa Bay yesterday. Chris Redman, a seven-year pro, is the backup quarterback.

    that sure helps.... the Eagles should win this game easily, which means they'll probably have to comeback in the 4th quarter again.

    HEY: All NFL teams have players hurt. Some injuries affect a team more than others. Atlanta is 12-1 at home the last two years.
