King Dunlap to return to practice; No major issues with sore knees of Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy

How would you rate the Eagles’ run/pass balance ratio against the Giants?
Still too many passes.
Too many runs.
Just about right.

King Dunlap is expected to return to practice on Wednesday, again complicating the Eagles’ left tackle situation. Demetress Bell has filled in for Dunlap the last two weeks to uneven results while Dunlap recovered from a hamstring injury. Dunlap beat Bell for the job out of training camp.

Eagles coach Andy Reid was non-committal on Monday when asked if Dunlap will be the starter upon his return.

“He’s getting better, so we’ll just see how he is,” Reid said. “I want to see him out there; see what he can do first.”

The Eagles escaped Sunday’s 19-17 win over the New York Giants without any major injuries. Quarterback Michael Vick has a knee contusion, but that will not be an issue. Neither will LeSean McCoy’s knee swelling. Defensive tackle Derek Landri also has knee inflammation, but he’ll be ready to practice on Wednesday. Long snapper Jon Dorenbos will practice this week after missing two of last week’s practices with a high ankle sprain, but Dorenbos was able to play Sunday.

Nnamdi Asomugha has no lingering issues with the right eye that was poked in Sunday’s game and has been taking eye drops prescribed while he was examined during the game. Colt Anderson missed the game with a knee issue, but he’ll be ready to play on Sunday.

The only player who seems to have a lingering issue is linebacker Akeem Jordan, who missed Sunday’s game with a hamstring injury and will struggle to practice on Wednesday.

Andy Pandy tried his best to loose that game last night! Dumb calls on plays and then the ice the kicker! You do not give a kicker a extra trie to beat you!

It's hard to even imagine how much these guys must be hurting on Monday mornings during the season. I think it was Jerome Bettis who said it was like being in a car accident every week as far as toll on the body.

These guys have amazing pain tolerance. If its not broken or torn they are practicing two days later. Contusions sprains bruises ... No problem.

gotta love the people crying about icing the kicker. Doesnt get more mmqb than that. Had he iced him and he made it, then missed youd nobody would say a word. All coaches seem to ice kickers anymore, whether it works or not, its really a complete guess.

And what was lost amid all the displeasure is the fact that they actually had time-outs to burn that late in the game.

Now you see why AR wastes Timeouts early. He's dangerous when he's got a couple left.
