Kelce leaves with knee injury

POSTED: Sunday, September 16, 2012, 3:05 PM

Jason Kelce left Sunday's game against the Ravens with an apparent knee injury.

The Eagles center suffered the injury during the third quarter with the Eagles trailing, 17-7. Kelce had to be helped off the field as he favored his right knee. He was eventually carted off the sideline and was taken into the locker room.'

Dallas Reynolds, seeing his first NFL action, replaced Kelce at center. The Eagles scored two plays later when Michael Vick hit Jeremy Maclin for a 23-yard touchdown that trimmed the Ravens lead to three.

Enjoy the win and forget about garner/wiff/pooppot/sewageguy/phil. They/he are trolls and who cares? It was good to see the Birds overcome their own mistakes and beat a rugged, top quality team. The team looked a lot better than week 1 despite the mistakes so they are heading in the right direction and the DEEEEE made some stops! How long has it been since we could say THAT!! There are even LINEBACKER sightings! HOLY CR@P! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.

I bet he sprained his MCL. Kelce won't be back on the field anytime soon. I just hope it isn't season ending but you just know the MRI is going to be bad news.

Coming into this week's action, NFL insiders were calling the Ravens a SB caliber team. Few if any picked the Birds and if anyone had told you that the Eagles were going to spot the Ravens 4 INTs and 2 gimmies (3 of them on their own 10 yard line and in) and I'd say there was a better chance of Jimmy the Greek coming back to set the line!

They can only get better with respect to the turnovers, penalties and costly special teams play. And when was the last time that you can remember an Eagle team when so many new players contributed to the level that this year's newbies have? Love the fight in this team!

    Get better Kelce!!!

Ed Reed was whiffing all over the lot, but ended up caving in Kelce's knee pretty good...No center exchange problems and great pass blocking from Dallas Reynolds, providing the relief the Phillies would've loved to get at the same exact time...Kudos to the maligned Demetress Bell, who didn't miss a block, unlike the king he came in for...Evan Mathis was great pulling left and right...Another great finish, but this line will need patching up...Expect the Practice Squad to add a lineman, with Dallas' lil brother Matt joining him on the active roster for a good story.

They use his opinions because he likes the cameras ,but I don't think Kelse is as bad as you state. By using all caps are you screaming for attention? Maybe CSN can interview you. Go E A G L E S.....the caps are because I am cheering for my team, not ripping them.
