Is Reid done after Eagles loss?

POSTED: Sunday, November 13, 2011, 4:24 PM
Coach Andy Reid reacts to a offensive penalty called against his Eagles in the third quarter. Quarterback Michael Vick threw an interception on the next play, and the Eagles were on their way to a 21-17 home loss to to the Arizona Cardinals. ( DAVID MAIALETTI / Staff Photographer )

Should the Eagles have played DeSean Jackson against the Cardinals even though he missed a meeting on Saturday?
Yes. This team needs all the help it can get.
No. He needs to be an example for the young players.

The Eagles season is over.

Will Andy Reid's tenure in Philadelphia be next?

The Eagles reached rock bottom with an utterly uninspiring 21-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals in which they failed to hold onto a fourth quarter lead for the fifth time this season. They now own a 3-6 record and have almost no shot of reaching the playoffs.

Based on the way Reid's team has played for mos of the season they have no shot. Quarterback Michael Vick was wretched for the second straight game. Juan Castillo's defense was soft. DeSean Jackson was benched for missing a team meeting on Saturday.

Has there ever been a team with so many expectations that failed to live up to them?

So true, Vick is an embarrassment to Philadelphia - bad, bad kharma. Why did we hire a dog killer anyway? Oh, yeah, I forgot, we just don't understand the culture.

Djax caused his own benching by breaking team rules. Marty forgot how to use Shady. That is a failing philosophy.

Tebow is a better QB than Vick. Hilarious.

KEEP MCCOY, FIND 3 LINEBACKERS WHO CAN ACTUALLY TACKLE, FIND A QB WHO CAN SEE HIS RECEIVERS AND START THE BLEEP OVER WITH NEW COACHING STAFF

Ah, the banshee wails from the east, do I hear 'em once again? Yes, I do! Gang, like it or not, Reid is not going to be fired; I really don't see it. Possibly Castillo will be relieved of some of his duties, i.e., play-calling. Johnny Lynn, ex-Def. Coord. is on the staff, why not?

But this is Andy Reid's World, so don't expect changes, don't expect firings and don't expect Lurie to do anything either.

Vick vs. Tebow. Tebow has won as many games as the Eagles have all season. At least Big Red thinks that Castillo is a fine DC. Absolutely horrendous.
