Hunt to Fullback?

Certainly not a slow news day as the Eagles resume training camp at the NovaCare Complex. Andy Reid dropped this little ditty – he’s gonna try out Tony Hunt at fullback. Let’s see. Dan Klecko didn’t work out. The staff obviously isn’t pleased with Jason Davis because they had Jed Collins taking a lot of snaps with the first unit last week. Hunt’s been a factor on special teams, seems willing to do whatever it takes to make the grade … “He’s gonna get some reps in there this week,” Reid said. “He is a player when he came out and played very good football this past week. Not only carrying the football but he was taking special teams very serious. You saw the two tackles he had on the kickoff team.” Hunt says he doesn’t have to relearn the playbook because there isn’t any difference between running back and fullback here except for blocking schemes. “Any chance you have to get on the field is a great opportunity,” Hunt said. More on this in tomorrow’s Inky.
