How Sabol went from broken cameras to the Hall of Fame

The Philadelphia area is represented in the NFL's new Hall of Fame class by Ed Sabol, the founder of NFL Films who launched the company as a family business venture out of his Main Line home.

This Inquirer story earlier in the week looked at how Sabol's film operation went from using eight cameras at a freezing NFL championship game to shaping the way football is watched, and gave him a chance at enshrinement in Canton.

After the Saturday Hall of Fame vote Sabol told the Daily News' Paul Domowitch that the vote is "a good ending."
