Eagles sign DT Jeremy Clark

Eagles bring in free agent DT Clark to help depleted line.

Eagles sign DT Jeremy Clark

The Eagles have signed free agent defensive tackle Jeremy Clark to help a line hit by injury.

Clark, an Eagles practice squad player in 2007, is now with his third NFC East team of the year. He previously spent short stints with the Cowboys and Redskins. The Redskins released him Dec. 25.

Clark was with the Cardinals in training camp but was released. He has appeared in six career games (four with the Giants in 2008 and two with the Cowboys this year) and has six tackles and a half sack.

The Eagles need help along the line after defensive tackles Trevor Laws (shoulder/chest) and Jeff Owens (patella tendon) were injured Tuesday night. Owens is out for the year. It's unclear how long Laws will be sidelined.
