Eagles players behind Vick

We know where Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb stand on the Eagles' decision to reverse field and hand the starting quarterback job to Vick (I think).

But where does the rest of the locker room stand?

Apparently, they stand in Vick's corner, or at least in the corner coach Andy Reid has painted them into.

"I feel that whoever management decides gives us the best chance of winning should be our qb,” guard Todd Herremans wrote on Twitter.

Reid, of course, said that none of his players approached him about making the change. However, one offensive player, who asked not to be identified, said that the locker room had begun to shift its support to Vick after his stellar performance in Detroit.

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson was caught off guard when he was told during an appearance on "Daily News Live" on Comcast Sportsnet that Reid had named Vick the starter.

"Are you sure or are you just messing with me?" Jackson said to host Michael Barkann.

Told that it was indeed a fact, Jackson said, "That means we are going to go out there and have more fun. ... I'm excited for whoever [is the quarterback]. I just want to go out there and win football games."

Eagles defensive end Victor Abiamiri simply tweeted, "Wow," after the announcement had been made.
