ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Saints won't match the Eagles' offer for restricted free agent Mike Bell, according to league sources.

New Orleans had until 11:59 p.m. tonight to match, but they'll pass on matching the Eagles' one-year, $1.7 million offer sheet for the running back. New Orleans had seven days to match.

The Eagles don't have to surrender any draft picks since New Orleans tendered Bell at the lowest level. The Eagles are hoping the 26-year-old Bell can complement second-year running back LeSean McCoy. The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Bell ran for 654 yards on 172 carries and scored five rushing touchdowns last season.
