Hey, the Jets just cut Ricky Sapp. I heard he's pretty good! Penfold18- All these running backs and we dont even run even plays for one running back lol. Zeru
I only saw parts of the first half of the Jets game. But what I did see was the Jets drive for a TD with their 2nd team. And I saw Marsh and Jarrett, 2 high draft picks, not making plays. Not good for the Dbackfield if there are injuries. Surprised Hanson got cut. watsonmr
I think signing Bob Sanders or Nick Collins would have been better DeathPenalty94
I understand why they had to do it, but I still think they will regret cutting Dixon. Safeties and Linebackers are dime-a-dozen in the NFL. You can find serviceable players (not great but serviceable) at either position walking the streets any time the mood hits you. Defensive lineman who can actually play are like corners who can play: There just ain't that many of them out there. Again, I get why they had to do it, and I am not complaining (although I would love to have seen them squeeze a late round pick out of somebody for him), but we WILL see Dixon again. He will be a key player in the middle of some good team's defense. kobrakai7474
Zeru, our RB last yr did score 20 TDs right. Bet he got those by accident since we dont call any plays for the RB. you know all 330+ touches he had last yr were prob ooopsies. CSpangler- No the team doesnt run the ball enough. To have the wealth of running backs we have and not even really be interested in the notion is as comical as having your offensive line coach for the past 10 years run your defense. Zeru
Keeping Jarrett, Matthews and Marsh prevents the Eagles from having 3 real NFL players on their roster. Also, keeping 4 running backs on a team that is pass happy is puzzling to say the least. Times yours Luriesucks
Agree with Alwaysphil1- RB's have a short shelf life...they are stacked at RB and you'd hate to cut any of them. John Dealoni
Bob Sanders gets hurt walking on the practice field, Nick Collins, Naw. Eaglehaslanded
Julian Vandervelde? Wasn't that the name that George Costanza used as an alias in Seinfeld? Julian Vandervelde, with Vandervelde Industries. bv2st
RB's get injured easily. The RB's on our team #3, 4 & 5 are good special teams players. It shouldn't be a head scratcher. They also have trade leverage with them. You keep the best players period. John Dealoni
Too many running backs. Too few wide receivers. kingnutter
